well, i made myself a sig (see below), but i have to change it in photoshop and upload it again as soon as i get a lvl, so how can i make it a dynamic sig?

You can do this with for example PHP, retrieve the scores from the highscore list. parse the values you need. and print them on the image. this is still quite complicated for the non programmer. if you really want to learn this i'd suggest you visit the site PHP.net and do some basic tutorials when you understand a bit how all works try the GD libary. |

I have something to add! Good suggestion, lwd cor nl. I'm not much of a PHP guru so wont comment on that - but.. I know a lot about desktop related programming and know what you have write 'strings' to a Graphics object in java and any .Net language which makes this easy.. And you can make the pictures dynamic and basically just as complex/simple/cool you want it to be.. I'm sure byronjr would know about this stuff as well as he can program in java. The problem with creating a desktop tool from dynamic signitures is that you'll need to run the program on your computer every time to create the signature - whereas the PHP idea (by lwd cor nl) would be on the web and its easier to access.. But if you really want I can create the tool for you - but I'm bogged down working on RSAngel.. Maybe byronjr can help you :P |

sure, reading a level from the stats page is simple, assigning each level into a graphic representation for that number is easy enough, writing that graphic representation onto a blank signature (one with the skill pictures but no numbers), yeah seems doable. I havent done graphics much in java, was always a pain, but I'm sure you can do it easily in php or javascript. But yes, you would have to run it everytime you wished to update it, unless it was embedded, and I'm not sure you can do that on this site without being a god. would be a nice forum feature...

I wrote a Dynamic Sig Engine in PHP... its currently being used on RuneAddict.net ( http://www.runeaddict.net/dynamic ). It's not all that complicated to do... just have to know how the RS Highscore lite server sends in information, and then place it on the image.
