There's a bug with the 1.4 version of the updater whereby it will reset the goals of some of the wathced characters to 70 rather than those repeatedly entered.
Any ideas? |

There's a bug with the 1.4 version of the updater whereby it will reset the goals of some of the wathced characters to 70 rather than those repeatedly entered. Any ideas? I think i understand what you are saying and i have forseen this. What my program does is write the stats over what is already written, so if a stat suddenly goes from x digits to x+1 digits it will actually override 1 space, and what lies after the stats is the goals, (my program was never intended to edit goals) perhaps i will be able to look into deleting the old stats, then inserting the new stats, as opposed to overriding. For example if you have no high score or a 0, then high scores picks up at 500000, then 5 new spaces have to be created to hold it. One way to overcome this is to keep your stats manually input for those not showing up on the high scores. rsdemon will write the information, and once high score status is achieved, there will not be extra space to overwrite the rest of the file. I'll look into it as soon as i can find time. Sorry this has happened to you. Is this the problem you are having? This post has been edited by byronjr: Jan 16 2008, 01:55 PM |
